Tuesday was Shop Til You Drop

I shopped all day today and I am exhausted. My nerves are frayed from dragging my kids from one store to another. My kids are also distressed from not following there usual routine. As I type this Alden is walking from one room to another screaming for no apparent reason. Please, don't think I am a bad mother I tried to make him happy but I failed miserably. Here are the deals that I sacrificed my childrens happiness for.

Target

I started off my trip to Target with a stop at the in-store Starbucks. I bought the boys a tall hot chocolate which the barista was so kind to divide into two drinks and redeemed my coupon for a free pastry. I was trying to pick the least messy item so I chose the lemmon pound cake.

  1. I feel your pain. My kids were totally acting out on our shopping trip Monday. I thought I was going to scream, but they took care of that for me...now my daughter has a runny, stuffy nose and I think she might be getting sick. She was probably acting out because she wasn't feeling good. How's that for a "bad mommy"! You did really great on your shopping day!

  2. Sorry to hear your daughter is not feeling well. Atleast there are some great deals on cold meds at Walgreens this week. I told my husband that now that I have a decent stock of meds no one will get sick. If I am out of everything they always get a fever in the middle of the night or cough all night long and I end up running out to the 24 Walgreens and paying full price.
